Classes

UpDog Studios offers a variety of different class types and styles. Check out the different classes and their descriptions to find the one that best suits your needs. We look forward to having you in class to experience the true benefit of yoga.

VINYASA FLOW/UPDOG VINYASA

Our Vinyasa classes are open to all levels. Instructors use props and offer variations to poses for yogis ranging from beginner to advanced . Influenced by Ashtanga and Vinyasa sequencing this flow connects asana and pranayama. Create heat in the body by moving through a sequence that works towards a peak pose or theme.

CLASSIC/SCULPT PILATES

Our mat pilates classes are open to all levels with lots of modifications or advancements to take at your own pace. Classic Mat Pilates follows closely to the original format created by Joseph Pilates, with some contemporary twists. Pilates Sculpt spices things up with influences of yoga, barre, and HITT sequencing. Both styles use various props to enhance the movements.

YOGI/VINYASA BASICS

Our Basics classes are great for beginners. Yogi Basics is our entry level class which allows you to focus on proper alignment, breath work, and become familiar with the asanas with more detailed instructions. Vinyasa Basics will move at a slower pace than a traditional vinyasa class. This class will begin to sequence the postures together while beginning to build strength, stamina, and flexibility. We encourage your to take classes at your own pace.

LEVELUP VINYASA

This class is sequenced to spice up your vinyasa practice. You’ll focus on challenging standing sequences, learn drills to help strengthen your body, and to work towards more challenging asanas including arm balances, inversions, deep backbends.  This is a class to take a chance and play around in your practice. Having a regular yoga practice is suggested.

YIN YOGA

Yin is a restorative practice holding poses for anywhere between 3-15 min with the assistance of props to deepen muscular relaxation. This is great for all levels. *For Candlelit Yin you must be on time for class*. This class requires multiple props and is set in a candlelit set to bring a relaxing environment to the studio. In respect for the other students and your safety we won’t be allowing anyone in after class begins.

DEEP CORE FLOW

Not sure if you want yoga or pilates this class is for you. Combining vinyasa, pilates, & ashtanga practices, this class is all about your core.

DONATION CLASSES

Donation classes are every Wednesday and Thursday at 12pm. Classes are designed for all levels and you can take them at your own pace. You can sign up ahead of time or walk in. Donations are made in person with either cash or card. There is a $10 minimum on all credit or Venmo payments. Mat Rentals are $2
